We were not sure if this was tracks for lynx or cougaur
Our heart rate increased a lot when we re-discovered the same animal tracks. I think the ladies got the feeling of being surrounded ......

Actually, the greatest danger out in the wilderness was the snow that fell from the trees :-)
The store at Emerald Lake, had decorated with Norwegian cross-country skis for kids. I remember these from my own childhood!!!!
